Luis was very friendly, welcoming and hospitable with prompt assistance and suggestions, while Ms. Iara met us directly at the airport to give keys which was very comfortable. The apartment was newly renovated, clean, well decorated, with comfortable beds and a good-sized functional kitchen that had a full-size stovetop/oven range, microwave, rangehood exhaust fan, compact fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of dishes and utensils, it had great sea views from multiple windows along with fast-working wall air conditioning for heat and cooling. The location was great in Alfama near shops open late for fresh food and toiletries as well as restaurants including an Italian Osteria over the road, public transit was within short walking distance.
