Friendly hosts Fernando and Teresa welcomed with tarts, a bottle of wine, and small presents at departure. The spacious apartment had two living areas, a courtyard, washing machine, terrace for breakfast, and a great kitchen. The location was central near Santa Apolónia station with cafes, restaurants, shops nearby and easy access to Alfama and Rossio.
