The apartment was spacious with two bedrooms, a kitchen that had a dishwasher, oven, and microwave, and the bathroom had enough supplies. The location was great near Belem park and the Tagus River with good public transport access and a quiet street. The flat had character with interesting furniture, dozens of books on shelves, comfortable beds, and windows facing the street. The washing machine was there as a bonus after traveling for weeks.
