Breakfast was very good and varied each day, with a delicious and filling menu served in the outdoor courtyard. The staff were friendly, attentive, and exceptionally helpful. The historic building had beautiful azulejo decor throughout the rooms and house, with stunning tiles in the bathroom and comfortable rooms featuring modern AC. The restaurant L’istambul connected to the hotel served pleasing meals. The location was near the train station, flea market, monastery, shopping areas, local restaurants, and within walking distance of several other dining options.
