A beautifully restored palace featured elegant rooms with great hygiene and traditional yet modern interior design. The location was central, close to many attractions in the vibrant Bairro Alto area. Friendly, knowledgeable staff provided attentive service at the front desk, bar, and restaurant. Breakfast was laid out beautifully and considered one of the best offered. Wine tastings were informative and enjoyable with a skilled sommelier present.
