The location was wonderful, sitting right on top of a hill which made getting there a bit tiring with bags, but taxis seemed to manage just fine. We loved wandering the neighborhood with its tilework, small markets, and nearby views, and while there were touristy spots, going north showed more of the real Lisbon vibe. The bed was comfy, it was really quiet, the tiny window still gave a nice view, and having snacks and drinks for sale was a big help after hauling bags uphill, the small bathroom worked fine, and when the upstairs door locked, Jacqueline sorted it out fast via WhatsApp.
